SURGICAL SCHEDULER - Medical Office Environment!
TEMP TO HIRE!

Our longstanding client has an Immediate need for an experienced surgical scheduler in a busy specialty physician practice! This is a temp to hire opportunity!

Pay rate: $25+/ hour depending on experience
Monday - Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm

Job duties:
  • Extensive surgery scheduling experience in a medical office environment
  • Obtain surgery authorizations after insurance company verification.
  • Complete surgeon requests in coordination with materials manager.
  • Monitor and update medical charts on a regular basis.
  • Maintain and update surgery schedule several times a day.
  • Prepare and submit medical transcription and order reports.
  • Respond to patient and staff queries by telephone and e-mail.
Core Qualifications
  • Excellent familiarity with nursing practices and medical terminology
  • Superior proficiency in handling electronic medical records
  • Strong skills in patient requirement documentation
  • High skills in monitoring a wide variety of medical operations
  • Sound prioritization and multitasking abilities
  • Outstanding expertise in CPT ICD9 and HCPCS coding
  • Good oral and written communication skills
