Temp Medical Claims - Healthcare Customer Service
Glastonbury, CT - on-site
Work for a growing Full-function payment 3rd Party Administrator that processes accurate payments for thousands of individuals. This high volume transactions are associated with premiums, health benefits, and medical payment parameters that include deductibles and co-payments for medical and pharmaceutical claims.
This position will be a 2-3 month temporary contract. Immediate start!
Full-Time hours, Mon-Fri day shift
Job Responsibilities:
Straight medical claims responsibilities! No phones!
Required Skills:
- Associate’s Degree preferred
- Experience with Medical Insurance including- Insurance follow up / Medical billing and payment / Billing resolution/ Insurance Claims
- Good understanding of Medicare, Medicaid, commercial insurance and secondary insurance
- Ability to read and understand missing Clinical Documentation, Clinical coding Enrollment; and Payment Terms related to insurance premiums and out of pocket expenses; Benefits Coordination with other insurance coverage.
- Medical Reimbursement – Ability to review and understand payment/account history.
