J. Morrissey is currently hiring for a Temp to Hire Trust Administrator in the Hartford, CT area that will have a caseload of trust beneficiaries that they will be responsible for. This is a full-time position, Monday-Friday 8: 00am-5: 00pm.
- Communicating by phone, email or in person with beneficiary and/or their representative
- Review requests
- Process checks & maintain proper documentation
- Analyze trust life based on current spending.
- Ensure all support documentation is properly prepared and complete.
- Prepare bills for payment.
- Allocate billable time correctly and in a timely manner.
- Monitor account balances regularly.
- Review files annually for Trust Review
- Provide advocacy as needed.
- Participate in monthly committee meetings.
- Visit clients as necessary and prepare visit reports.
- Maintain client files according to procedures.
- Contact clients who have had no activity for extended periods.
- Attend staff meetings.
- Participate in training to stay current on changes in trust management, legislation, case law and Social Security and disability regulations.
- Minimum of 4 or more years of recent experience in an Accounting or Banking background required
- MUST have strong critical thinking skills
- Experience with people with disabilities a plus, but not required
- MUST have excellent written and verbal communication skills
- MUST have a strong attention to detail, sense of urgency and excellent organizational skills
- Strong computer skills
Pay Rate: $16.00-$18.00 per hour
