<br>Are you ready to transition out of public accounting and step into a leadership role with a globally recognized organization? Our client, a <strong>publicly traded manufacturing company</strong> headquartered in Connecticut, is expanding its <strong>Internal Audit team</strong> due to an internal promotion.<br> 

<br>In this key position, youâll work closely with the <strong>VP of Internal Audit</strong> to develop, refine, and execute the companyâs global audit plan. Youâll oversee operational audits and SOX testing for both domestic and international entities, while mentoring audit staff and driving process improvements across the organization.<br> 

<br>This is an exceptional opportunity for an individual with <strong>4â6 years of public accounting experience</strong> whoâs ready to take the next step into corporate management.<br>

<strong>Key Responsibilities</strong>

<ul>

&#9;<br>Lead and manage audit engagements from planning through execution and reporting<br> 
&#9;
&#9;<li>
&#9;<br>Perform comprehensive <strong>risk assessments</strong> and identify opportunities for control enhancement<br> 
&#9;
&#9;<li>
&#9;<br>Conduct <strong>operational audits</strong> and <strong>SOX compliance testing</strong><br> 
&#9;
&#9;<li>
&#9;<br>Partner with the VP of Internal Audit to design and implement the annual audit plan<br> 
&#9;
&#9;<li>
&#9;<br>Coach, mentor, and develop junior audit staff<br> 
&#9;
&#9;<li>
&#9;<br>Communicate audit results and recommendations to executive leadership<br> 
&#9;

<strong>Qualifications</strong>

<ul>
&#9;<li>
&#9;<br><strong>4â6 years of relevant experience</strong> in Public Accounting, preferably with manufacturing clients<br> 
&#9;
&#9;<li>
&#9;<br>Proven ability to <strong>research and resolve complex accounting issues</strong><br> 
&#9;
&#9;<li>
&#9;<br>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills<br> 
&#9;
&#9;<li>
&#9;<br>Familiarity with internal controls, processes, and efficiency improvement initiatives<br> 
&#9;
&#9;<li>
&#9;<br><strong>CPA preferred</strong><br> 
&#9;
</ul>
